Editor – Technology and Photography
Imagine Publishing, a worldwide multimedia content producer within the entertainment, computing, digital photography and videogames market sectors, is looking for a creative and ambitious individual to join its Technology and Photography team.
The successful candidate must have an experience of managing both print and digital projects from concept to finish. A proven track record of writing and editing for a specific audience is essential, as is the ability to lead a team, manage freelancers and work successfully with PR and industry contacts. You will also edit and rewrite copy and ensure the magazine runs to schedule and to budget. In addition to the magazine, the successful candidate will help run the companion website and forum.
The successful candidate will also need:
• Experience of commissioning.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Industry and community contacts.
• The ability to manage staff and workflow.
• Proven time and project management skills.
• Ability to multitask and cope with pressure.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and InDesign.
