Sponsorship Sales Manager £35K OTE £70K For an established company, great development opportunity with a realistic OTE.

Our client is leading conference company and they are looking to recruit a top Sponsorship Sales Manager to secure high value sponsorship packages from prospective clients. This is an exciting and challenging role and gives great career progression for the right candidate.

The role is mainly selling over the telephone but there will be opportunities to present face to face as required plus attending the events you have been responsible for selling sponsorship for. The organisation covers a diverse number of business sectors and they have a great reputation in the market for delivering innovative and stimulating conferences. You don’t need to have sold sponsorship before but must be able to transfer sales processes from a similar job role hence you are highly likely to come from a media sales background.

Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate competency in the below key areas, it is not essential to meet all requirements but priority will be given to applications that satisfy most.

•Have successfully sold in a B2B sales role. (With a high level of experience).
•Sold sponsorship packages to large multinationals.
•Evidence of achieving / over achieving targets.
•A real can ‘do attitude’
•A thorough understanding of sales process.
•Knowledge of spin selling would be highly advantageous.
•Self generate business leads.
•Ability to priorities leads and maximise revenue generation via sales pipeline control.
•Build client relationships in the short and long term.
•Commercially minded with an ability to spot an opportunity.
