Working in an events company as an event planner can be a challenging role with many demands on your time and the pressure of deadlines. Job titles are usually along the lines of event managers or conference producers. These types of events jobs require excellent organisational and managerial skills. You must enjoy working with people and be able to prioritise your workload effectively. Events can either be for the B2B or B2C market.
Recent graduates or new entrants to this field should try and highlight any relevant skills or experience on their CV’s that may be deemed suitable for event management jobs.
